Where’s the humanity in gator hunt?

Re Sept. 19 article, “S.C. woman kills 800-pound 12-foot alligator with guides’ aid”

Kudos to Kayla McGuire on her bagging an 800-pound, 12-foot alligator. What tracking ability those guides possessed. Not to mention their skill at hooking the gator and pulling him close enough to enable the brave huntress McGuire to shoot a defenseless animal at close range with a 44-caliber magnum pistol. What courage, what prowess and, most importantly, what humanity they all displayed. They should be sooooo proud.
