Make voting a priority in this great nation

What are some of the reasons everyone should vote at this time?

The main reason is this is the greatest nation on earth, voting is a privilege. Why do people who have traveled all over the world kiss the ground and are willing to die to get here if it wasn’t so much better than where they came from.

My parents came from the Czech Republic, had nine children during the Depression and never had any desire to go back as they said the worst over here was better than the best over there. Opportunity was here if we worked and asked God’s help. My brother died at 94 years of age last year. He estimated 63 years of military service in my family. Two brothers made it a career, the rest of service was nephews.

My father and mother were so grateful to the citizens; I do believe it was one of the best days of his life and hers. My father worked for the railroad clearing the tracks on a wooden board with wheels, he would be called out in the middle of the night to get the snow cleared. He never complained; he was grateful for the job. During the Depression it was not a walk in the park.

If we want to save our freedoms we’d better pray, (prayer is the key to God’s heart) and also vote not only in this election but every election.
