Goodbye, Chesterfield; Hello, putt-putt

About 25 years ago, a local song writer penned a little tune titled “They're digging up our sea oats and planting condominiums.” Now after years of tide changes it is still going on.

“They're tearing down the Chesterfield to build a putt-putt course.”

The writer lives in Surfside Beach.
