What does “Right to Work State” mean? I thought as long as we were born in America and paid taxes we had the right to work. It should be called “No reason needed to fire state.” South Carolina doesn’t protect employees from employers terminating employees.
I was fired because I reported the general manager and staff for mentally abusing employees. They were reprimanded and two months later I was fired. He accused me of things that were not true. I have contacted the governor’s office and local attorneys and I have no chance to get my job back. South Carolina needs to protect employees and employers.
