Surfside Beach needs to vote for Vicki Blair on Aug. 7. Vicki Blair has lived and worked in Surfside Beach for 27 years and has represented the community with respect and dignity while serving on Town Council for four years. Vicki Blair volunteered on the Planning and Zoning Committee for eight years and was the chairwoman for four years. Vicki does work full-time as a South Carolina public servant in a position that requires diplomacy and compassion on a daily basis. Surfside Beach citizens may not hear a black and white agenda from Vicki but rather an informed opinion about the facts.
I believe a vote for Vicki Blair will assure another four years of informed decisions. When too many members of like beliefs and concerns sit on Town Council at one time, we no longer have representation of all the people. Vicki will represent a cross-section of our residents whether retired or working, man or women, young or old. I urge voters to take an interest and vote on Aug. 7. It is time to vote for diversity, diplomacy, compassion and intelligence. Please vote for Vicki Blair.
