Bluegrass music makes for happy people

We attended the Vince Gill concert last Thursday at the Alabama Theatre. We are local and it was the first time we had been there for a concert. The concert was mostly dedicated to bluegrass music and it was the best bluegrass a person will ever hear. I would guess it was sold out. The crowd was a mixture of all ages and were very receptive, of course, to Mr. Gill. He is an excellent entertainer and musician.

I have always loved bluegrass music and feel it is happy music. My husband is not a fan, but was very impressed by Mr. Gill, the band and their respective instrumental talents. It was a fun evening.

When leaving, because of the crowd, we thought it would be difficult to get back on U.S. 17, but the traffic moved quickly and everyone was courteous. I think it showed how nice the people are who love bluegrass music. It was special.
