Mug shot exploitation unjust

Anyone who continues to believe in the fallacy that in this country you are innocent until proven guilty should pick up a copy of Carolina Mug Shots.

It will show that, in actuality, once you are arrested, you are guilty as sin, and you better be able to prove your innocence. But, of course, the damage has already been done.

By the way, there is no such thing as being found innocent in this country. You are either "guilty" of "not guilty" and "not guilty" is simply a euphemism for not being able to be nailed by the system.

But, this rag even makes a game out of people being arrested. On Page 1 is "Match the criminal to the crime." Answers on Page 7. Right next to this is a disclaimer: All persons herein are considered innocent until proven guilty. Yeah, right.

It's not a game when we incarcerate more people per capita than any nation on Earth. It's all a big business enterprise with assorted vultures at every turn making money off of the whole mess.

One of those vultures is Carolina Mug Shots. They have reaffirmed my long held belief that the American system of justice is just a sick joke.
