Rally protests immigrant amnesty

The American people don't want to be governed from the left, the right or the center. The American people want to govern themselves, says one of the major pollsters in evaluating the rapidly building animosity of a growing majority of voters toward government. "The American attachment to self-governance runs deep. It is one of our nation's cherished core values and an important part of our cultural DNA."

I do not think that enough Republican professional politicians represent me, either. This failure to reflect the will of the people is why, in my opinion, the tea party is having such a big success in getting our choices to win in the Republican primaries.

I want the Republican Party voided of its hacks, and it has more than a few. Conversely, I would support a Democratic tea party-like effort to do the same. We can make a start by We The People journeying to Columbia this Saturday, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and joining in a protest against amnesty for illegals. Amnesty hurts most of all the poorest among us and is a threat to our nation's safety and sovereignty.

This rally is a product of The S.C. Black Conservative Movement and is supported by tea party members everywhere along with everyone who wants an immigration policy that respects Americans and American law.
