Myrtle Beach Police arrested a man on June 3, 2026, who was accused of making a bomb threat against a local bank.

A man has been arrested by Myrtle Beach Police after he told a bank that someone was going to make him blow it up.

Jesse Keith Langley, 45, was charged on June 3 with making a bomb threat or conveying false information about a bomb threat.

Officers were notified by a security representative with TD Bank that they allegedly received a call from Langley in which he threatened the Myrtle Beach location at 1320 38th Ave. North, according to a police report.

Staff with the bank’s call center in Greenville notified security on June 2 that they had received a customer-service call about a debit card dispute. During the conversation, Langley reportedly told staff “I’m ex-military, and they’re gonna make me blow that bank up.”

Langley also said that he was going to “go over there and shoot the bank up,” according to the report.
