A Shallotte, N.C. man was arrested Thursday by Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office agents in connection with multiple drug charges, including possession and trafficking, according to Emily Flax, sheriff’s office spokeswoman.
Clayton John Allen Holmes, 30, of Shallotte was charged with selling cocaine, possession with intent to manufacture, sell, and deliver cocaine, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, and heroin, Flax said.
Holmes is also facing multiple charges, stemming from previous incidents, including two counts of selling heroin, two counts of heroin, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to appear on a criminal summons or citation, probation violation and indictments for previous drug charges.
Holmes was arrested after a traffic stop at U.S. 17 and Red Bug Road in Shallotte, N.C. He is being jailed at the Brunswick County Detention Facility on $85,000 bond.
