Myrtle Beach police charged a North Carolina woman and Loris man with armed robbery after officers learned of a robbery at gunpoint in a hotel parking lot, according to a police report.
Officers were called at 3:30 a.m. Thursday to 730 Frontage Road East for the robbery, police said.
The victims, two women ages 21 and 22, told officers they were parking at the hotel when another car backed into an empty space next to their vehicle, according to the report. The younger woman told police that a woman got out of the vehicle and started talking to her.
The younger victim said she saw the female suspect with a handgun and she ordered the victim to give her everything, but the victim said she didn’t have anything, according to the report. The victim said the suspect then asked for her purse, so she handed it to her along with her cellphone.

The victim said the suspect then backed up to get in the car, but fell on the ground in the process, according to the report. The victim said the suspects then drove away.
The victims called police and an officer on patrol saw the vehicle at Fifth Avenue South and stopped it, according to the report. Officers took Jordan Casey Jones, 34, of Chabourn, N.C., and Russ Ricchard Bellamy, 34, of Loris into custody.
Jones is charged with two counts of armed robbery and one count of possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime and she was being held on $155,000 bail, according to records at J. Reuben Long Detention Center.
Bellamy was charged with armed robbery and was being held on $50,000 bail.
