A 50-year-old Conway man told police that a woman cut his throat when he went to a neighbor’s to borrow gas for a lawn mower, according to a police report.
The victim called police about 5:30 p.m. Saturday to the area of Hickory Circle and Tinkertown Avenue to report the assault, police said.
The victim said the 41-year-old woman walked up to him while he was at his neighbor’s house and cut his throat with a blade wrapped in a paper towel, according to the report. The victim had a four to five inch cut on his neck and said he didn’t know why the woman cut him.
The woman had left the scene and the victim refused to allow EMS to take him to the hospital, according to the report. The victim said he would have his brother taken him to get medical treatment. No other details were listed in the report.
