Georgetown County Sheriff's deputies have issued arrest warrants and are searching for a 36-year-old man in connection with the armed robbery of a convenience store, according to Deputy Russell Goodale, public information officer.
Jimmy Dale Cagle, 36, is being sought on charges related to a robbery that occurred just after 1 a.m. Sunday at 9275 High Market St. in Georgetown, Goodale said Monday.
Witnesses said that the suspect entered the store, walked to the cooler and then approached the counter, Goodale said.

The robber reached over the counter and seized an undisclosed amount of cash from the register before he ran out.
No one was hurt during the incident.
The Georgetown County Sheriff's Bloodhound Tracking Team responded and the dogs led handlers into the neighborhood behind the store before they lost the track a few blocks away, Goodale said.
After viewing store surveillance video and speaking with several witnesses, deputies identified the suspect as Cagle, Goodale said.
Anyone with information on Cagle's whereabouts can call the Georgetown County Sheriff's Office at 546-5102.
