Next week "ABC World News" will be launching a special series featuring their correspondents traveling to their hometowns to uncover stories of success in these tough economic times.
ABC World News correspondent Sharyn Alfonsi, whose parents live in Georgetown, along with Diane Sawyer, David Muir, Ron Claiborne and Bill Weir will be heading to their respective hometowns to report stories about real Americans helping one another and coming up with solutions to the tough economic times.
Alfonsi and a news crew were in Georgetown this past week recording the local sights and interviewing different businesses and local residents regarding the economy and how they were coping with the changing times.
The segments will air Sept. 27 to Oct. 1.
