A popular breakfast and brunch restaurant has plans to open another store in North Myrtle Beach.
Blueberry’s Grill, which currently has restaurants in Myrtle Beach and at Barefoot Landing in North Myrtle Beach, will open another restaurant near the Outback Steakhouse along U.S. 17 North.
The restaurant is a “brand-new, separate brunch and breakfast concept,” that will be different than the current Blueberry’s Grill spots, according to an email Wednesday from the company.
The name and details of the new restaurant has not been released, but it “will be elevated with new elements specifically designed to match the high-end architecture of this location,” the email said.
While the new restaurant will share the same operating hours and “commitment to quality as Blueberry’s Grill,” it will be a different brand, the email said.
The new restaurant will be designed by a Miami architect and will be an “architectural masterpiece,” the company email said.
It is unknown when the new spot will open as “we just broke ground last week,” according to Blueberry’s Grill Myrtle Beach manager Jameson Vanderleest.
Blueberry’s Grill serves breakfast, such as pancakes, omelets, French toast and blueberry hushpuppies, as well as a brunch menu with shrimp and grits, burgers, sandwiches, salads and mimosa flights.
It has locations at 7931 N. Kings Highway in Myrtle Beach; 4856 Highway 17 South in North Myrtle Beach; and 1900 Eastwood Road in Wilmington, North Carolina.
