A Coast RTA bus driver has been charged after a crash in Pawleys Island on Monday evening, news partner WPDE reported.
“We can confirm that she was charged with going too fast for conditions. She is an experienced driver so we trust that she made the right decisions, but that will be determined in the investigation,” said Michelle Cantey with Coast RTA.
Midway Fire Rescue Chief Doug Eggiman said 14 people were transported to the hospital, and 13 refused treatment in the wreck on Highway 17 in Pawleys Island.
Eggiman said none of the injuries are critical.
