No-swimming advisory lifted in area of North Myrtle Beach

A no-swimming advisory has been lifted for a section of North Myrtle Beach, according to the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control.

The advisory in the area of 17th Avenue South was issued due to elevated bacteria levels.

“Bacteria levels no longer exceed water quality standards and activity can resume in this area,” Sean Torrens of DHEC, said.
