Watch out for rough currents if you’re headed to the beach today

Red flags have been planted along Myrtle Beach shores Wednesday afternoon as officials warned of rough currents.

A beach advisory cautioning swimmers of high hazards from strong currents went was issued Wednesday, according to Myrtle Beach police Facebook page.

A double red flag warning was issued Tuesday for 14th Ave North to 29th Ave South has for strong currents.
