Conway’s dog park is now open.
The city’s gathering spot for the canine community will add a few obstacles and equipment in the coming months, but the sign and fence are up and the park is ready for four-legged guests, said Foster Hughes, Conway’s director of parks, recreation and tourism.
“It will be open this afternoon,” he said Thursday.
The park, which is located at 1700 New Road near Lake Busbee, is open from sunrise to sunset. It will also be the site of the city’s Arbor Day celebration, which is scheduled for 4 p.m. Friday.
