A dense fog advisory is in effect for the Myrtle Beach area until 8 a.m. Monday, forecasters with the National Weather Service in Wilmington, N.C., said.
Visibility is reduced to less than a quarter mile for motorists, officials said.
Anyone commuting before the fog lifts later Monday should slow down, allow extra travel time, use low beam headlights and allow extra distance between vehicles ahead of you, forecasters said.
