A Conway man was booked into jail Tuesday on three counts of attempted murder, third degree assault and battery and use of a vehicle without permission.
Kristen Jetel Williams, 18, was arrested on Wednesday, Oct. 15 after allegedly shooting a 22-year-old woman in the leg near Bucksport Sports Bar a little after midnight. According to a police report, three men and a woman started a fight with the four victims, also three men and a woman.
The four victims went outside to leave when Williams started shooting at the victims, hitting the woman in the leg. The victims then fled in two cars, and the suspects followed, according to police.
The victims tried stopping at Bucksport Fire Station, but the suspects kept shooting at them so they continued to travel north on Highway 701 toward Conway. The suspects allegedly ran the victims’ car off the road several times, causing bumper damage, and continued to shoot at the vehicle, causing damage to the windshield. Once the victims neared Conway the suspects left, according to the report.

EMS transported the female victim to Grand Strand Hospital after it was discovered the bullet also penetrated her other leg, slightly above the ankle.
Williams’ bail has not been set. The three other suspects, each charged with third degree assault and battery, have a $15,000 bail. They are: Dorian Derrel Williams, 20; Michael D’Angelo Williams, 22; and Shekena Willette Williams, 22.
