Monday’s weather should give Grand Stranders a respite from a cool, cloudy, dreary weekend.

The high temperature is forecasted to be in the mid 70s, according to the National Weather Service.

The overnight low should be in the mid 50s.

The rest of the week will see warming temperatures with a chance of rain Tuesday night.

Roughly a dozen fire trucks from Horry County and Myrtle Beach responded to a reported fire at a large building near the old Freestyle Music Park on Sunday night. The site is near Fantasy Harbour.
