Horry County Registration and Elections is moving two precincts for Tuesday’s special general election for County Council chairman.
The Jackson Bluff Precinct will move to Centenary Methodist Church at 1527 S.C. 544 in Conway, while the Ocean Drive Precinct No. 2 will move to the Lakeside Baptist Church at 615 11th Ave. North in North Myrtle Beach, according to a press release.
This precinct change will only occur to Tuesday’s election
Republican Mark Lazarus is the only one on the ballot for Horry County Council chairman, after defeating fellow GOP challenger Al Allen in the March 26 runoff election. There are no Democratic candidates in the running.
The general election is being held to allow for any write-in candidates.
