An 18-year-old Conway woman was killed late Wednesday in an Horry County crash, and officials are searching for a vehicle involved in a fatal hit and run bicycle crash early Thursday, according to an S.C. Highway Patrol Web site.
The first deadly crash occurred about 11 p.m. when Kristin Nicole Floyd, 18, of Conway, was ejected from a 2003 Chevy pickup truck she was driving on Secondary Highway 139, which is near S.C. 66 north of Veterans Highway, the Web site said.
Lance Cpl. Bob Beres with the S.C. Highway Patrol said the truck was going south on Secondary Highway 139 when the vehicle went off the right side of the roadway, the driver overcorrected and lost control of the truck.
The second crash involving a bicycle and motor vehicle occurred at Inlet Square Drive and U.S. 17 Bypass near SBB Four Corners at about 3:30 a.m. Thursday. A vehicle fled the scene and police are searching for a 1993 to 1998 Nissan Quest or Mercury Villager were involved in the fatal hit and run crash, Lance Cpl. Sonny Collins said. An exact color of the vehicle was not yet available.
After inspecting evidence found at the scene, patrol investigators determined the vehicle they are looking for will have damage to the left front side and down the left side of the vehicle, Collins said.

Floyd's death and the bicyclist hit and run crash victim mark the 70th and 71st road deaths this year in Horry County. In 2006, there were 62 fatal crashes in Horry County.
