Former President Bill Clinton will be in Myrtle Beach Thursday, Hillary Clinton's campaign confirmed.

Clinton will be speaking to the National Baptist Convention of America at 4 p.m. at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center, though it is unclear whether the event is open to the public.

He is also promoting his new book, "Giving," said Zac Wright, S.C. communications director for Hillary Clinton's campaign.

"We’re very excited," Wright said. "This has been in the works for several days."
