A 27-year-old Georgetown woman was found dead this morning in a fenced-in lot at a warehouse between Myrtle Beach International Airport and the back gate, and Horry County police are investigating it as a homicide, officials said.
Horry County Coroner Robert Edge said Kelly Taylor was found fully clothed and had no obvious trauma – no gunshot wounds, no stab wounds.
An autopsy is being performed now at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, Edge said.
An Horry County police officer found her at 7 a.m. today in a fenced-in lot in front of a warehouse near 2990 Emory Rd.
The officer had reason to believe there was something to look for, Edge said, but would not elaborate.
No suspects have been arrested at this point, said Sgt. Bob Carr, spokesman for the Horry County Police.
