Two Myrtle Beach marketing agencies have merged to form a new digital creative and branding agency with a division focused on hospitality businesses.
Collins+Company Advertising/Design and New Media Hospitality have merged to form NuMedia, which will offer marketing and brand development, including web design and development, social media, performance analytics and app development.
The new agency, located on Lake Arrowhead Road, also will have a resort/hospitality division called NuMedia Hospitality that will focus on resort/destination marketing including customer relations management and digital marketing.
The founders of the two agencies will lead the new firm. Trey Harris -- who founded New Media Hospitality, which was formerly known as DSL Marketing, in 1995 -- will serve as chairman and CEO. Tom Collins, who founded Collins+Company in 2005, will serve as chief creative officer. Chris Crowl will be president and chief operating officer. All three are partners in the new firm.
