Popular Myrtle Beach Italian restaurant reopens. Here’s what diners can expect
A popular Myrtle Beach Italian restaurant has reopened.
Hot Tomato will keep the same name but is now operating under different owners. Its first night was Dec. 29, just ahead of the New Year’s holiday.
The restaurant will continue to serve Italian dishes, such as pasta and pizza from its brick oven.
The restaurant has been going through renovations since closing at the end of August. At that time, it was operated by Sharon Treffeisen, who ran the restaurant from October 2018 until her lease ended in August.
The restaurant is now operated by the owners of Soho Steaks, Seafood and Sushi and Toasty Breakfast & Lunch, which opened in May.
There is currently not a website for the newly opened restaurant.
