Fast food chain to open its third location in Horry County. Here’s where
A national fast food chain has launched its third location in Horry County, with a grand opening for the new Socastee location set for Tuesday.
Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers will open a new location at 4576 Dick Pond Road in Socastee, with doors opening at 10:30 a.m. to welcome the first customers.
The fast food restaurant serves an array of steakburgers, as well as chicken sandwiches and hot dogs. The restaurant recently introduced bowls to its menu, featuring the ingredients of the chain’s popular steakburgers in the format of a salad.
Freddy’s is also known for its frozen custard offerings, which includes flavors such as chocolate brownie delight and Oreo double trouble.
Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers will join the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce for a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, June 12 at 9:30 a.m.
The Socastee location marks Freddy’s third location in Horry County, following two Conway locations. Myrtle Beach area residents can also dine at Freddy’s at 2889 U.S. Highway 501 and 1934 S.C. Highway 544 in Conway.
“Our restaurant presence in Horry County is steadily increasing, and we look forward to continuing our growth over the next few years,” Freddy’s franchise owner Carlos Boozer wrote in a statement to The Sun News. “The number of positive responses we’ve received from guests since we made our area debut in Conway has been very encouraging.”
More fast food chains coming soon
Fans of Freddy’s will also soon be able to enjoy the restaurant’s frozen custard and steakburgers in the eastern part of Horry County.
Impeccable Development, the real estate development company behind all other three Freddy’s locations in Horry County, has been planning to open a fourth location of the restaurant in Little River since 2025. The Little River Freddy’s will be located off of S.C. 9 East near the Tractor Supply Co.
No opening date has been announced for the Little River Freddy’s.
If you are looking for a different cuisine, Impeccable Development will also open a Del Taco in Socastee near the new Freddy’s at 4750 Dick Pond Road. Del Taco serves a mix of classic Mexican and American dishes including its titular tacos, as well as burritos and loaded fries.
