• As reviewed in our latest Gut Reaction (Oct. 30), a new burger joint and sushi bar has opened in Myrtle Beach and nothing on the menu costs more than $13.
ART Burger and Sushi Baroffers appetizers from hummus to ahi tuna lollipops and side salads. Bojangles’has named Mary Stanley, a biscuit-maker at the Bojangles’ located at 589 International Drive in Myrtle Beach, as a finalist in the 18th annual Master Biscuit Maker Challenge. The Master Biscuit Maker Challenge is Bojangles’ annual company-wide culinary showdown in which hundreds of Bojangles’ team members from more than 600 company-owned and franchised locations across the Southeast compete to be named Bojangles’ best biscuit-architect, the Master Biscuit Maker.This is her first year advancing to the final round of the Master Biscuit Maker Challenge.

Publixsupermarket in our area has announced its grand opening in North Myrtle Beach for Nov. 19 at 7 a.m. The supermarket will be located at 1576 U.S. 17 North, in the Coastal North Town Center shopping center. The newest shopping center, on the North Strand, will be home to more than 21 stores, and it could all stem from the success of North Myrtle Beach's Park and Sports Complex.

CB’s Deliis coming soon to International Drive in Myrtle Beach. No word yet on a grand opening date. The deli is looking for associates that are hard workers to fill full time positions. Responsibilities include making sandwiches, stocking inventory, making coffee, cashiering, customer service as well as cleaning. Experience preferred and you must be able to work weekends.
