Ashworth Golf releases new shoe
Ashworth Golf has released a new version of its Cardiff footwear featuring a lightweight woven-mesh upper, sure-footed spikeless outsole for transitional use on and off the course, and waterproof protection. The new Cardiff Mesh was first debuted on the PGA Tour by Justin Rose and Sean O’Hair, and became available to the public on Aug. 1.
Introduced in June 2011, the original Cardiff was created to deliver the functionality of a traditional golf shoe with the versatility and comfort typically found in a casual town shoe. The new Cardiff is an evolution in style that Ashworth believes will add to the momentum of the model among golfers looking for a lighter, more breathable option to traditional golf shoes.
The Cardiff is offered in medium width and three colorways: Black/Black/Blue, White/White/Neo Irons Metallic, and Black/Black/Pallatina. The shoe carries a 2-year waterproof warranty and has a suggested manufacturer retail price of $120. Visit http://taylormadegolf.com/ashworth/ashworth,en_US,sc.html.
