Snow White and the Huntsman | In a twist to the fairy tale, the Huntsman is ordered to take Snow White into the woods to be killed, but he winds up becoming her protector and mentor in a quest to vanquish the Evil Queen. PG-13. Starring: Kristen Stewart, Chris Hemsworth and Charlize Theron.

For Greater Glory | In late 1920s Mexico, retired Gen. Gorostieta and his wife watch their country degenerate into violent civil war when the government enacts a series of anti-clerical laws. Gorostieta is at first hesitant to join the rebels, until he begins to see the cost of religious persecution on his countrymen. Though the odds are against him, the general nevertheless transforms a ragtag band of rebels into a formidable fighting force. R. Starring: Andy Garcia, Oscar Isaac and Catalina Sandino Moreno.


The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel | Some British retirees decide to outsource their retirement to exotic and less expensive India. Lured by advertisements for the newly restored Marigold Hotel and imagining a life of leisure in lush surroundings, they arrive and find that the Marigold is actually a shell of its former self. Though their new home is not quite what they had imagined, the retirees find that life and love can begin again when they let go of their pasts. PG-13. Chernobyl Diaries | A group of six young tourists looking to go off the beaten path hire an “extreme tour” guide. Ignoring warnings, he takes them into the city of Pripyat, the former home to the workers of the Chernobyl nuclear reactor, but a deserted town since the disaster more than 25 years ago. After a brief exploration of the abandoned city, however, the group soon finds themselves stranded, only to discover that they are not alone. R. Men in Black III | Agent J travels in time to MIB’s early years in the 1960s to stop an alien from assassinating his friend Agent K and changing history. PG-13. Starring: Will Smith, Tommy Lee Jones and Josh Brolin.

What to Expect When You’re Expecting | The challenges of impending parenthood turn the lives of five couples upside-down. Two celebrities are unprepared for the surprise demands of pregnancy; hormones wreak havoc on a baby-crazy author, while her husband tries not to be outdone by his father, who’s expecting twins with his young trophy wife; a photographer’s husband isn’t sure about his wife’s adoption plans; a one-time hook-up results in a surprise pregnancy for rival food-truck owners. Dark Shadows | A rich and powerful playboy, Barnabas seals his own doom when he breaks the heart of a witch named Angelique. Angelique turns Barnabas into a vampire and buries him alive. Two centuries later, Barnabas escapes from his tomb and finds 1972 Collinsport a very different place. His once-grand estate has fallen into ruin, and the dysfunctional remnants of his family have fared little better. PG-13. Starring: Johnny Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer and Helena Bonham Carter.

The Lucky One | U.S. Marine Sgt. Logan Thibault returns home from his third tour of duty in Iraq with the one thing he believes kept him alive: a photograph of a woman he doesn’t even know.
