Myrtle Beach police are searching for information about two people wearing masks who shot into a Canal Street house, according to a police report.
Officers were called at 1:40 a.m. Wednesday to the 800 block of Canal Street after residents in a home reported hearing at least four gunshots, police said.
Four people at the home told officers they heard gunshots and that some of the bullets struck their home, according to the report. Officers found five shell casings in the road in front of the home and two bullet holes in the house.
A 19-year-old man told police he was outside the home smoking a cigarette when he saw two people wearing masks and dark clothing riding bicycles from Watts Avenue, according to the report. The man said one of the people pulled out a gun and started shooting and he ran inside the house.
Two women and three children inside the home were not hurt during the incident.
