A 30-year-old man told Myrtle Beach police he was assaulted as he left Coastal Grand Mall, according to a police report.
The man said he was walking outside of the mall near the Food Court about 6 p.m. Monday when the man walked up next to him, police said.
The man said the other man stepped in front of him, punched him in the face, yelled at him and then got into a nearby vehicle and left, according to the report. The man had some swelling around his eye and told police he did not know the suspect.
