Brunswick County drug agents arrested eight people in two separate searches in the Supply community, according to Sgt. April Gause with the sheriff’s office.
On Thursday, Carl Stuart Chamberlin III, 55, was arrested on possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, two counts of possession of controlled substances and maintaining a home for the purpose of distributing controlled substances, according to a news release issued Monday.
Agents searched Chamberlin’s home on Sandy Bluff Drive and seized 366 grams of marijuana, 19 alprazolam pills, a hydrocodone pill, eight guns and $1,077 cash. Chamberlin’s bond was set at $30,000.
In a separate search at 2542 L Street S.W. in Supply, on March 21 agents arrested seven people on drug-related charges. At that home agents seized 64 grams of marijuana and some stolen property.
Deanna Grimsley, 65, Supply, on charges of felony possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Her bond was set at $10,000.
Richard Allen Warwick II, 22, of Supply, on two counts of trafficking (14 or more, but less than 28 grams) of opium. His bond was set at $400,000.
Dedward Lemont Graham, 37, of Riegelwood, N.C., on charges of possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver marijuana (59 grams), and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $5,000.
Tristen Thomas West, 25, of Supply, on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
A 16-year-old boy from Bolivia, on charges of manufacturing a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Two 16-year-old boys from Southport, N.C., were each charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
