A 52-year-old woman has been found safe in Myrtle Beach after Horry County police detectives asked for help in finding her, said Sgt. Robert Kegler.
Katharine Joy Cooper, 52, was found alive Thursday in Myrtle Beach, but she had not been seen since Monday, Kegler said.
Detectives reported that it appeared the woman left her home ''without taking any personal belongings or any means of communication,'' Kegler said. Family members and co-workers had not been able to contact her so police got involved in the search.
