Police called to dispute at Myrtle Beach clothing store

Myrtle Beach police were called to a clothing store after a group of women were disorderly while returning items they had purchased the previous day, according to a police report.

A store clerk at Its Fashion located at 3901 N. Kings Highway called police at 4:30 p.m. Monday to report the incident, police said.

The woman said four women came into the store and made rude comments about her because of an incident that occurred on Sunday, according to the report. On Monday, the woman said the women returned all their purchases.

The clerk told police the store was low on cash, so she told the women the refunds would have to go on gift cards and the women became upset, according to the report. One of the women called a district manager, who told the clerk to give the women cash.

During the incident, the clerk said one of the women threatened to jump over the counter and fight her, according to the report. After the women received their refunds, the clerk told them to leave the store because she was calling police.
