Horry County police continue to search for a Myrtle Beach man wanted in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred last week, said Sgt. Robert Kegler.
Detectives continued Monday to search for Saire Jerrel Castro, of Myrtle Beach, in connection with the shooting that occurred March 1 at a Murrells Inlet home, said Kegler, spokesman for Horry County police. Castro may have shaved his head since police began searching for him.
Five other people have been charged in connection with the fatal shooting of a 35-year-old Kevin Bowens, who was found shot inside his home at 9601 Drayton Court, after police were called at 9:30 p.m. March 1.
Early Wednesday, police arrested and charged Thomas Gifford Byrne, 19, Amanda Lee Byrne, 22, both of Myrtle Beach; Ashley Janine Bledsoe, 18, of Garden City Beach; and Sage Lee McPhail, 20, of Loris, in connection with Bowens’ death.

Thomas Byrne and Bledsoe are charged with murder, Kegler said. Amanda Byrne and McPhail are charged with accessory after the fact of murder, Kegler said.
Bowens was pronounced dead at 10:37 p.m. March 1 at Waccamaw Community Hospital in Murrells Inlet, Horry County Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard said. Bowens died from multiple gunshot wounds.
