Robin Roberts, 42

Occupation: Architect, general contractor, gallery owner, comic shop owner, X-CON co-founder

Hometown: Pawleys Island

Current residence: The Waterway

Webster's might as well put an etching of this Waccamaw Neck native next to its definition of "renaissance man" in the next edition of the New World Dictionary. Architect, entrepreneur, artist, community activist - those are simply a few of the hats worn by this well-rounded guy who is also co-conspirator for bringing the madness of X-Con World, an annual comic book/sci-fi/fantasy convention, to town.

He can also cook, juggle, speak a couple of differnt languages and play a few instruments.

And he's a devoted single dad, too.

"Well I have personally lusted after Robin for almost two years," confides his Lust List nominator Myrtle Tree. "He is a wonderful father, always sweet and kind. Robin volunteers constantly for community events and charities, he donates to almost all of them. Robin is very creative, funny and smart and I just love gazing into his eyes. He is a self made business man who is constantly dreaming up new and fun things for the Grand Strand and he has the skills to back that up. But most of all seeing him with kids just makes him the best ever and it doesn't hurt that he is hot."

Let's see what makes this Lust List finalist tick.

QUESTION | Do you work out or are you naturally hot?

ANSWER | LOL - I do sit-ups and push-ups after I get my little girls to bed.

A. | Bob Marley, U2, The Smiths, Portishead, Black Flag, Black Eyed Peas.

Q. | If someone wants to pique your interest romantically, they will?

A. | Catch my eye, make me laugh and exude confidence, not arrogance but a quiet confidence. Also a healthy excitement about life in general - just being a happy person.

A. | Vanity, dishonesty, drama, lack of respect for other people's values even if they are not your own.

Q. | What is one thing that you'd change about the Grand Strand?

A. | Asking an architect this question is dangerous - I could write an essay. However in a nutshell I would make the cultural and political environment much more friendly and supportive to growing the tourism industry overall and not just one particular demographic. With the right attitude our tourism could double overnight.

Q. | Do you have any tattoos, and if so, where are they located on our body and what do they depict?

A. | I was never able to decide on something that I would want on my body forever, until I had two little girls - now I am considering something symbolic of my love for them.

Q. | What's your nickname, and how did it come about?

A. | Well as a teenager it was "Slasher" due to my famed lip-ripping surfing style. I think currently it is "Daddy."
