Jewel Pearl Rogers was arrested about 6 p.m. Wednesday in the area of 14th Avenue South and Ocean Boulevard, according to a police report.
The officer wrote in his report that he saw Rogers walking along Ocean Boulevard and when he stopped his vehicle at a stop sign she got inside, the report showed. The officer wrote Rogers agreed to perform a sexual act for $100.
Another officer stopped the vehicle and arrested Rogers, according to the report. Rogers’ criminal history showed she was convicted of prostitution in June 2005.
