A Georgetown County home was destroyed by fire early Wednesday, according to authorities.
Firefighters were called at 7 a.m. Wednesday to 112 Isaac Drive, which is located between Frank Cribb Road and Snowden Drive, said Tony Hucks, Georgetown County’s assistant fire chief. The home was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived and they quickly got the fire under control.
A man, woman and child lived in the home, but were not there when the fire started, Hucks said. The cause of the fire remains under investigation. No one was hurt during the incident.
