A jury will continue its deliberations for a third day today in the case of a Conway woman charged in the slaying of a mother of four, according to a 15th Judicial Circuit prosecutor.
Brittany Johnson, 19, faces a murder charge in the June 24, 2008, shooting death of Monica Burroughs, 29, also of Conway, according to court records.
Police said Johnson shot Burroughs in the chest outside her home on Bayside Avenue in the Huckabee Heights housing project in Conway.
Deputy Solicitor Jimmy Richardson said the trial, which began Monday, will continue today with jury deliberation.
