5 | The 13 th annual Wave Goodbye to Litter Run

A 2-mile run through historic Georgetown begins and ends at the Georgetown Public Library on Cleland Street. Trophies and T-shirts will be given to the participants. Age groups ranging from 10 to older than 60. Runners and walkers are welcome to sign up at the city of Georgetown cashier's office or Wayne's Sporting Goods on Highmarket Street. Late entries will be accepted on the day of the race. Entry fees are $12 before Monday, $15 after. Call 545-4100.
