Horry County police are investigating a robbery at a convenience store by two armed men, Sgt. Robert Kegler said.
Two men, one armed with a sawed-off shotgun and the other with a pistol, went into Gerald’s Convenience Store late Wednesday, Kegler said. The store is located at 6475 U.S. 701 N., outside of Conway.
The suspects hit the clerk in the head and took a customer’s purse from the store before they fled in a vehicle, Kegler said. Additional information about the incident was not immediately available.
