Weekly golf tip with Brad Redding (Dec. 22)

Everything I work on with a student on a greenside bunker shot, from the setup to the swing, is intended to get the bounce of the sand wedge to work the way it was designed to. So what is the bounce? It is the extra metal on the back of the sole of a sand wedge. It acts as a "slide" and keeps the club from digging into the sand and helps the sole skip along the top of the sand through the four to five inches of contact area in the sand.
