Detectives with the Horry County Police Department are seeking information about the location of a Myrtle Beach man, who was last seen on Saturday, according to Sgt. Robert Kegler.
Matthew Robert Magee, 36, was last seen at 9 a.m. Saturday when he left for work, police said. When Magee failed to return home, his wife called police about 12:30 a.m. Sunday.
After detectives began investigating the incident, they learned Magee did not go to work that day and he has not contacted his family or friends, Kegler said. He is possibly in the Greenville area.
Magee is described as being 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing about 240 pounds with brown hair. He was last seen wearing either a white or blue shirt with a tie, dark slacks, a charcoal gray pea coat and glasses. Mr. Magee could be operating a blue 2003 Toyota Tundra with a South Carolina license tag of DXE 878.
Anyone with information about Magee can contact detectives with the Horry County Police Department’s violent crimes section at 915-5350.
