A Nichols man was indicted by a grand jury on a charge in connection with a 2009 shooting in Conway, according to court records.
Reginald Tyler Evans, 26, was indicted on a charge of assault and battery with intent to kill in connection with the May 19, 2009, incident, according to indictments.
Horry County police charged Evans after a man was shot in the lower back during an altercation on Rose Moss Road in Conway. The victim was treated at Conway Hospital for injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
