A 26-year-old Myrtle Beach woman told police a man punched her in the face after she went outside a Kings Highway bar to smoke with him, according to a police report.
The woman told police she was at Jimmagan's at 6003 N. Kings Highway when the man asked her to go outside and smoke with him while her boyfriend was in the bathroom, police said.
The woman said the man punched her in the face and then ran to a vehicle and left, according to the report. The woman’s boyfriend stopped a police officer in the 900 block of North Ocean Boulevard to report the incident.
The woman did not want to press charges, but police noted she had dried blood on her shirt and her nose was swollen, according to the report. But the woman said she broke her nose a couple weeks ago.
