A North Myrtle Beach man is jailed on $60,000 bail after police say he struck a woman's vehicle and threatened her, according to a police report.
Charles C. Wade Jr., 46, was charged Monday with malicious injury to personal property with a value of $5,000 or more and criminal domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature, according to records at J. Reuben Long Detention Center.
Conway police arrested Wade after a 41-year-old woman drove to the police department at 8 a.m. Monday, according to the report. The woman and two witnesses told police Wade struck the woman's vehicle when she stopped at Beaty Street and Third Avenue.
Wade went to the Police Department and wanted to speak to the woman, but when officers approached him he ran, according to the report. Officers caught up with Wade and he tried to fight them, but he was subdued and arrested.
