Sheriff’s deputies in Brunswick County, NC have charged a man who fled from officers earlier Thursday when they approached him at his home.
Brunswick County Sheriff’s office said in a press release that the its K-9 Unit and warrants division deputies worked together to find and arrest Shannon Fowler on JB Lane in the Ash area near his home.
Fowler is charged with one count each of felony larceny, obtaining property by false pretenses and fleeing to elude arrest. Fowler was being held late Thursday at Brunswick County Detention Center. Fowler fled into woods near the intersection of Myrtlehead Road and Exum Road around 1:30 p.m in the Ash area, deputies said.
